On Saturday Annie and I loaded my bike up into the car and drove down to meet my parents for a lovely fall bike ride along the C&O Canal in Maryland. We were between the canal (which was mostly dried up) and the Potomac River the whole time. And it was a gorgeous day!

 It was such a wonderful day!



Then on Sunday we drove down to Gettysburg and had a birthday dinner for my dad with my parents and Thomas and Caroline. Everyone finished off with a rousing game of Royal Rummy. :)

I feel like this is all I post lately. But oh well!

These pictures were taken by the Banburys, who watched Annie on Saturday so Brant and I could have a date night! Anne was there too, and of course so was Lucy, Trey and Michelle's adorable girl! I bet these three rockin' girls were a handful!!

Well, I've got chicken for tacos cookin', and the little goober pictured above is about to go down for a nap, although she doesn't know it yet. :) Happy Monday, everyone!

impromptu visit!

GramE and Great Grandma Jane arrived last Wednesday for a "surprise" visit to Pennsylvania to see us! We were so excited! They were here for only two days, but we had so much fun! The only pictures I took were from our hike at Chickies Rock overlook. It was a beautiful fall morning!

We also enjoyed some yummy meals at Brownstone and Cracker Barrel, bought a bunch of cookies at the first official opening of Missy's Ugly Cookies, and played and played as much as we could!

Can't wait to see you again!
